Mark do you have a box in front of the back seat or under the back seat The L7's get beat up everyday for the past 4.5 years by a 9 year old Zeus Amp from when they were the shiznit. They are down firing under the back seat. I had to keep the seat since I got them kidos. This is the first time I have ever kept a back seat in a truck and I have had 5 different trucks and at one time had 4-15" Punch HX2's in a S-10 Blazer being pushed by the Zeus. But one of my favorites was when I had 2-15" Cerwin Vega "Vega's" in an Extended Cab S-10 with Old School Punch 200's on each sub and was able to get 143.4db at a comp but still came in 2nd to a 144.1db he had 3 Kove Audio Armageddon 12's those were the shizzle. The best part about the Extended S-10 was when I showed up at the comp and 50% of the paint was flaking off it had a ladder rack with the extension ladder still on top. They didn't know what was coming well except a turd looking truck. 3" EXCURSION to bad they are out of business

| I grew up with speakers around me. I was used to seeing four 15" and a few 12" in a small 15 passenger bus. That was the standard back in the late 80's. | |

| theirs a name u don't see much, cerwin vega. i remember going to a bass competition and a Plymonth laser had 15in or 18in cerwin vega sub in the back hatch and the glass was flexing cuz the bass and he had 2 friends sitting on the lock part so it wouldn't open. Id luv to have a w7.
yeah i have a system in my car but its not a load and big as my younger days. 3rd day of owning my car i put my system in it. kenwood deck(i like the high end stuff, good signal to noise ratios and high volt pre outs) Polk audio components (woofer and tweeter are separate), jbl 6x9, fosgate mono block amp and a 12 in alpine type r in a vented box (should have gone sealed). nothing big but it still makes the sunroof rattle and i needed to fit a stroller and kids stuff so i couldnt go all out plus i want quality vs brain melting bass. | |
