| Hahah that was so funny Chris you scared me soooo bad with the slash 4x4. And Yes Mark my dad got a Dodge 1500 Ram Hemi 5.7 its metallic orange with metal flake and its been at Mopar Performance all week....... He had the cam massage a little pistons, injectors, exhaust, waiting on tuner and Big horsebehind mopar ram air system. Thenupgrading the audio system with 2 12s subs but now it has a touch screen headunit, 4 6x9s, 1 8inch sub, 4 tweeters and and all black leather,... AND OF COURSE Train Horns In the bed not under the truck any more

| Romano why would you want 8 8" subs
A. No room B. Thats alote of freaking wires to run if they were 4 Ohm or even 2 Ohm C. I couldnt take seeing little 8"inch subs my mids and highs are bigger than that 12" subs are the smallest sub ill go and like 2 or 3 subs with me do a fiberglass box.
And Mark yea yours does bang but I want better lol but its my dads truck lol so thats his decsion Cough Cough itell he hands over the keys to me when like im a senoir?????
If he wanted to do a system I would do prefer for low price
2 Kicker Solo-Baric L5 12" RMS 600watts and 1200watt Max Each 2 Ohm 1 Boss NXD5500 5500W Max, Onyx Series Class D Monoblock Power Amplifier 1 Power Acoustik PCX-10F 10.0 Farad Digital Hybrid Capacitor 1 Special box for the subs????

this is the kind of stuff that was hot when I was growing up and what do you know they still sell them. (note what 5000 real watts cost) Orion HCCA 50001Here is a Rockford one notice that real watts are about the same price. Rockford T2500-1BDOn the cheap side I don't really know but like we have said before you pay for what you get.

| bbhahbahbhahahah He said "Boss" Amp.
Eight 8 could work if you stuck in a isobaric aperiodic box. Mark and I are old school bass heads and audiophile at heart.

| u cant go wrong with a Rockford fosgate amp. they come with birth sheets saying how much power it was tested at and ive never seen one do less then what they advertise. my first amp was a fosgate 2 channel and i had it bridged down to 0 ohm once and it kept on ticking. it did get very warm but never quit. | |

IDK Wes really depends on the budget and space limits. I would say you were on the right track with the L5's I'm running 4-L7's and I love them. For the amp what's the real budget? Just don't go with Boss your ipod nano probably puts just as much power as a Boss. I don't know about 98 Farad Caps I'm running a 1.5 farad and all this new 10, 15, 20 farad caps IDK maybe Romano can shed some light on why they have them.

| not all power is crated equal. this cheap amps may make power but it dirty power (clipping power) aka distortion. | |
