LRP 1/8 motor review

I had preordered this motor on Towerhobbies for months and when it finally arrived I had the urge to open it up right way. The build quality is very good. Ran it in the Rustler and CRT.5. It comes with a fan and timing inserts. It's a good motor for 2s, but gets pretty hot with more voltage. Rotor diameter is 13mm. Hacker C40L is 13.4MM. However, the smaller Hacker runs uber cooler. The design of this motor gives it excellent build-in dragbrakes.

Plenty of fun with 18 degrees boost. 30 degrees is a bit much and I don't see a difference in speed really. The below two pics shows the continuous amp draw at the different timing boost with the MMpro and 2s lipo.
