Subject: Plettenberg Motor Review Fri Apr 02, 2010 8:54 am
For those that don't know. Plettenberg makes the best 4 pole motors for years. The price also reflects that. They are handbuild much like the Neu motors, but the finished product is pure German. I have the Maxx with the build in fan, rated at 3000kV. Plettenberg also make motors for Flight and smaller 1/10 cars. They once also made motors for the RC company Graupner. You can buy new ones from Canada and once in a blue moon, used onces from Ebay.
The motor is small, but puts out the torque and will propell a 1/8 buggy, onroad like a rocket. The motor is a snob and will piss on any Novak that comes near. Heck it took a number 2 on my LRP motor, when I tried to introduce them.
Here are pics from fellow Pletty owners.
Here's a vid of it in action.

Thats pretty screwed up showing my motor to everyone. All the intimate insides to should be seen only behind closed doors.
