Today I was handed over a pair of Acepow lipo batteries. These were the 4000mah 30C and 5000mah 40C, both being hardcased 2s1p with bullets. Packaging was good and the power cables were supplied.
Charged the 4000mah 30C battery at 2C. Voltage delivered was at 3.8V. Same for the 5000mah. The cells came in half full. 2000mah went back in. One cell was at 4.2V while the other at 3.92V. The 5000 pack took 2500mah and was more balanced than its 4000mah cousin. 4.2V + 3.98V.
The 4000mah 30C battery went through a 100A burnout test for its first cycle. I used my old school TRC Lynx II pan car. Slapped on some 2” wide drag tires and started the burnout. I must say that I’m more than surprised with the outcome. Data logger showed an average of 108Amps@6.72V ~ 727Watts for around 20 seconds. This equates to 27C discharge. Burst startups on carpet(inside my house) peaked at 131.32A@6.5V ~930W.
Motor was C40 6s Hacker with Mamba Max. ESC was upgraded to 12awg wires with an additional 8 cap bank. Car TRC Lynx II with solid axle. 2" wide foam tires. Eagletree 150A datalogger.
More will follow.

Good review Romano. I look forward to more info about these batteries. I liked your video too... my favorite part is near the end when something on the left side of the car starts to rattle loose and almost falls off. Hahahaha!!!

Dean, that was my 8 capacitor bank that rattled loose.
I just found out that my "What a Nut" charger will ship between the 3-4th week of May. So I won't be able to do some real cycling of these cells anytime soon. I could buy the "These Nuts" or "Silly Nut" charger to do some basic logging, but nothing really worth mentioning about in a true battery test.

I also posted this review on RCU and RCM. I'll stick this on rcgroups as well, since Acepow post there.
The FLM Rustler will really show the punch capability of the batteries. Well, as soon as I get my warranty parts for it. Motor choice will be a Hacker B50 5S, Lehner XL3100 and probably the Hacker C50 6T. ESC will be the RX8. I want to see some 1000W spikes from a 2s battery!

You're funny. I think you should get all of them that way you have a collection of big nuts. Hahahaha.
