Back into to Drifting

Hi All,
I signed up hoping to see if I can find some people that will keep me more active in drifting and/or RC world. I have a few cars: HPI Sprint 2 Drift with Brushless Velineon, a Traxxas Slash 2WD with no upgrades, and I'm currently putting together a Tamiya TB-02 (CALSONIC IMPULZ). I've read and seen videos on here that you guys/ladies use to meet up at Randy's on Sunday, just wondering if you guys are meeting up somewhere else. I would like to get started again, and stay active this time. Drove by Randy's Sunday there was only one person there, so I left. If you guys are meeting again somewhere let me know.

Yea I know as "THE ANVIL" lol live up to that name lol. But right now were not setting up the track beacuse its too hot right now were waiting for winter to come back around agin. But yea just come in the hobby shop will be in there.

Its just been too hot outside lately, but it seems to be cooling down so maybe some more action can be seen soon.

You should come out this sunday we have some drifters probably out there.
I know my car will be. Hoping its not gonn abe too hot so my tires stay cool else they will be sticky as heck.

For all the drifters next time you come out, come out early 10-12noon thats when racers and drifters can be out there.
Racers actually know hot to avoid drifters and they tend to drive other TCs. And you dont have to deal with Offroads.

I'll be there again, it was cool talking to you, I'll run my car next time I go up. Would have stayed longer, but I had to go to work. Plus after reading some of the post on here, I didn't really miss much. Sucks that one person can ruin it for everyone.

Yea like Andres said drifter's come out at 10-12noon on 10/24/10. Like when actual people that come out in the early we respect yall and let yall drift the corners and just wait and pass yall in the straight way and when we see yall agin we reapeat but dont run yall off the track with our 1/8th tc if there's alote of yall drifting on the track well we just wait intill yall get done.

The rest of us might stay out of the way of drifters but I don't know about you Wes. You'll run everything over and drop the anvil on them.

drifting looks fun. i wanna get a drifter next for sure.

Are you guys still meeting up @ Randy's on the weekends?

some do but its mainly bashing there.

Most of us are meeting out at M&M on Thursday Nights 6pm-11pm now for racing.
Also the track is perfect for drifting, between the races.
If you wanna get more drifting we need some people do exhibition drifting on thursday night at M&M, and start getting a drift crowed on their own day then. I have a Dual Purposed Build Car now so let me know if you have time and chris has a dedicated drifter now also. Some other people have some also. but again we need to all get together.

I won't be able to make it out there tonight but I can start meeting you guys up at M&M. Any fees for using their tack between races?

That I am not sure yet. Will know for sure once i am back form vacation and getting the correct Parts for my drifter setup.
Still Missing my Pulleys .... and a Belt. For my CS 1.5 and see how we can stuff that in between. or do it on Sats.
