Yes the case is indeed FULL aluminum !!!
This is the Sports Version Mid end ESC.
They have Pro Sports and EL. Where as the Pro is not released yet.

You just couldn't resist could you? You just had to take it apart. LOL

Yeah,.... i been eager to take it apart LOL
-Fets are similar ones used by speed passion GT series.
-The board build up is similar to Tekin Just upside down so now the fets butt are up in the air. (Sounded so wrong)
-Sport version has 1 Fet board and 1 Control board. Fet Board is only populated on one side,
but has blank spots for more on the other side. I am asuming the Pro has all spots populated with fets.

OOOHHHH. Butt up in the air.....

I'm impressed with the super thick solder traces to the fets. However I see the thermal pad doesn't make full contact with all the fets under pressure. Overall nice layout though.

Yeah avadded small pad underneath would fix that.
But they did try their best to have it make fulll contact.

The buttom of the case was machinede indented causing it to raise the board onto the heat sink.
So it was thought of but not calculated tolerance of the board thickness after assembly.

Well, I Finally got to test the ESC on the track for few laps, until my car ended up in the pits after a head on collisions with another driver ...

The ESC Feels smooth, Matter of fact it feels VERY smooth, comparable to my Speed Passion 2.1GT.
You can play with the settings a little bit and get it to feel as aggressive as a Tekin RS also.

What it is lacking is Turbo/Boost, which i hope that they left the headroom in the software to do that later on.
It is stated that the Pro will be only one carrying Turbo/Boost,
but maybe if the software is done correct same results can be achieved as the RS and RS Pro which both sport the Boost/Turbo.

My Test day was cut short with rain on the track so I will continue this later.
If no turbo is needed and you are planning to join stock or run mild motors this is a very able ESC to look into.

The Team Powers ESC has the ability to very fine tune the Timing.
It allows adjusting it in increments of 1. Even if you are in sensor mode you can play with that setting to gain more Top end.
And it is quite powerful when doing so. Paired up with a Plutonium Motor it can easily keep up with any Tekin, Speed Passion, LRP, BMC on the track.
This ESC is probably a lot more durable than their competition due to the Full aluminum case. No worries if your car decides to spit the ESC out,
the metal casing might get scratched but it is a lot better than the case totally breaking apart from the ESC itself.

Also the the Field Programmer feels more solid than the Basic HW and the New Speed Passion Programmer Boxes.
It also will give you an Audible Beep when finishing flashing the settings, which is a nice touch to the programmer.
