Castle 1717 1580Kv

I purchased a new motor today (so did Romano) it's a Castle 1717 1580Kv Beast. See Below


It's the one in the middle. The one on the left is a typical 1512 buggy size motor and the one on the right is a 2025 for 1/5th apps.


And Andres it's still not my fault you went home and bought 2 motors for yourself. I'm pretty sure Chris did the same thing.

can these buggas be ran with the RS pro ?

I wouldn't do it. The MMM or RX8 is the bare minimum.

Got the motor in today but it is the Air version w/6mm shaft. Castle is already sending the Car version to me with return postage for the Air version(I might end up keeping this one to...Castle does have my card on file).

How you got the motor so fast ?

I don't know. But my guess is that they say 7-10 days to cover their butts. Either way I really didn't get MY motor but the correct one should be here Friday.

Yea my horsebehind lol dude that motor probably has so much torque it would pick up the whole 18R and twist the chassis in half and break it like a tooth pick lol Rigghtt you go ahead and put it in a 18r

Will have an RX8 in it..... hopefully the one you are gonna sell me
with the 1717 and with the size of that chassis probably a 6S2P A123 pack in it.

I haven't recieved it yet but should arrive sometime this week.

Cool Cool Yea about the Tekin I'm going to keep it im runing it in my Ofna Hyper 10sc lowerd the shocks protoform pf8 gt body and GRP road tires hell yea gunna be bitchin on the track this Sunday 10/10 you should come out and we have a little race lol.

You'll beat me on the drag strip but on the track lol You better step your game up lol.

We'll see about that the GTP did start life as an ON ROAD car not a modified off road truck. I am gonna try to make it out on sunday and you just might slap some laps on me since you are Mr. Racer 90X. LOL

HAha Mr. Racer 90X lol yea come out and we can have some fun. What size batterie you going to be running. Ima be runing 2s and 3s. I'll be out there at 10am if Dean,Chris, Andres,other Mark, and about four more pepole.
