REASON DRIFTERS DRIFT

If you are new to drifting.
I understand there are alot of old school American Drivers out there that HATE drifting.
It doesnt make any sense to them...

Here are some reason why drifters drift:
Drifters all know its the slowest way around the turn. We are all aware of that
But its the nicest looking way. To powerslide into a turn isnt hard but drifters try to enter a turn while in inertia already and holding it untill exit. So there are quite some differences.

Its more of a show to make the audience happy rather than being the fastest around.
It is competitive but most Duo drifts, the drivers try to make it as fun to watch as possible. aka in most duo drifts, the lead car will try to keep the drift consistant as possible so the trailing car can get as close as possible. Rather than "Wahahaha bitch u cant do what i do".

But this has changed through out the year since Drifting has entered to the US. Its all about HP and a one man/girl show now. So the playing field has changed from a more relaxed competition, to more who is better Faster Baader.

But at its heart, its still there, all the drifts are made to entertain the crowed.
Get as sidways as you can and keep it sideways as long as you can and get out of it or even string them together and stay in a drift the entire course.
Get as close as you can to the wall and sometimes even try to scratch the wall with out spinnign out. Thats what it is about...

And believe or not most drifters do race. The FAST way around the track.

So lets keep the old school style going and do it for fun =D and lead it on to the RC world.
