It is the same size as the VTX10 and it is 3 grams lighter.
VTX1 shares the same aluminum case as VTX10.
It uses different controller board with a different boost controller to support 1S.
It also has it's own firmware (not interchangable with VTX10/10R firmware).
It wil for sure be lighter than VTX10 as it does not have the waterproof glue in it.

The VTX1 all aluminum case disperses heat without the use of a fan. It comes preloaded with eight profiles which are all customizable for different applications. Or add your own profile for a track or track condition. The VTX1 is designed for 1/12 and 1/10 scale on road applications without a radio receiver pack. It is also a perfect option for competitive 1/10 off road racing. The top of the line power FETs in the VTX1 will provide ultra-low resistance for blinking mode races. Its sophisticated boost timing firmware will be your best choice for your hunt for podium finishes.

The same size as a credit card, the Progauge is used for tuning the speed control while at the track without the need for a computer. The innovative V-Port on the VTX1 speed control allows for programmability without removing the speed control wire from the receiver. This means less wear over time and you never have to dig for your receiver to make a small adjustment.
