I believe All tekin need Booster.
You can run w/o but you will have power issues every time you floor it like Johnny did LOL
He had to get a booster for his RS Pro. But Tekins stuff is sooo small a booster still leaves them being compact.

No its not the best, its the most compact and most expensive set up.
Speed passion is the avg price and decent compactness.
Castle is the cheapest but also the biggest.

They are all great ESCs and achieve the same deal

Or get the car, save up and just run brushed for now and try to beat ppl with brushless.
THEN YOU CAN POINT AND LAUGH AND BE LIKE, HAHAHAHAH YOU GOT BEAT BY A BRUSHED AND NIMHS !!!

Speed Passion or Tekin would be my choice.
Or
Some German ESC as long as it was made in Germany not assembled somewhere in asia LOL

Motor wise i stick to LRP
reason, Tekin=More RPM less efficiency vs SP=Best efficiency but lower KV
LRP is in between but on both you can adjust timing accordingly to match KV
But so far my LRP been doing good for me i am geared to the moon added turbo and the motor runs at 80-120 degrees lol.

So a RS Pro with a LRP 17.5t motor would be good then I would need a booster who selles boosters?

If i can run something different i normally do LMAO.

Else Yea Speed Passion or Tekin is my next choice in ESC.
Motor wise i am set on LRP until i find something new special that works for me.

But then again i dont like cutting my Tekin up to attach a retarded Booster.
So Speed Passion is my better choice.
Though if you dont mind going through the surgery of attaching the Booster Go Tekin.
You know how i like my set up on my cars.

Now it comes down o preference really wes so at this point you have to decide =D

i would hotwire a booster lol

BUT

yeah u can get a plug and play booster for the tekin. Novak makes one, BUNCH of asian companies make one.

Go Tekin RS or RS Pro with Booster and LRP 17.5 or Tekin 17.5

There done Deal !

Not true.

Hitec makes as good servos as Futaba and KO.
There are more rebuild kits for Futaba and KO.

Futaba and KO have a larger line of different sizes for specific application.
Hitec has a generc base they always build around which makes them cheaper.

But essentially they all do the same. as long as you shop for the right one.

I personally like Slim Low Profile Servoes, and they only come in high end version, so smoothness and speed comes with it.
And Futaba or KO are few of the companies that has em. Hitec has no Low Profile servo that fit my needs and pocket/wallet.

But regular size servo Hitec has nice ones for the money.

Cup Racer = Futaba S9351
Team Magic = Futaba S9451
F1 = Ko Propo PDS-2413ics
Unknown Car = Futaba S9450

Some run Hitec some Spek some run KO Other Futaba.
What ever works they run. I like my Futaba and KO due to size except the S9351 i have.
It was suppose to go into a SC 4x4 but I never got one so i stuffed it into the Cup Racer. Kinda way too much torque but it was fast so it works.
