Things you will need:
Phillips Screw driver
Dremel or Drill and File
Steady hand and some patience

0. Well we all know how to pop open a case, if you dont, you shouldn't attempt this LOL

1. This Pro Piece holding the Antenna, can be taken off once the case is opened. Depending on how far you want ur antenna to stick out, you have to widen the opening with a dremel, drill or even just a file. It also depends on what module you will be using Pro or non-Pro, they vary a little in size.

2. I wanted my cable come out a certain spot, which was next to the Pins. I drilled/dremeled this new hole. Make sure not to drill into any circuitry, you can check that by removing the board and hold it up against some light.

Close up pictures

2. Next, take apart your Spectrum Module. In my case its a Pro Module =D
You will end up with Board, Backplate, Front Plate and Antenna.
Comon sense how to take it apart. If you don't u shouldn't try LOL

3. Now we will need a new hole to route the wires into the back. This is the location i find it to be least detectable.

Another Close up from the inside.

4. Another PCB mod, this time to the Module. If you noticed, when placing the board back in, it leaves no room for the cable to reach the top plate. And it would been clipped off on the inner side wall. So therefor we need to make some space for it be able to pass. I took a dremel and cut a lil piece of the PCB in. Again hold it up against the light to make sure not to damage any circuitry.

If you notice i didnt place my hole exactly ontop the hole of the backplate. I have moved the cut out from the PCB board a lil up so there is a slight angle. It saves me 5mm of cable. urs might be longer or shorter.

5. Close up your transmitter. You better know how to close it back up lol. The cable should appear right next to the Pins in the Plastic cut out where you can see the PCB board from.

6. Now take the Backplate of your module and slide the cable through it. Like this...

7. Place the PCB from the Module back into the backplate.

8. Hook it up to the PCB board. A non-Pro Module will have 2 plu conectores (top and buttom) hook it up the top one.

9. Little tricky part is to get the screws back on the module. To hold the Front plate down.

10. Just rotate it a little bit and you should have some clearance to screw the screws back on comfortably.

11. Now just pop the module back in once all the screws are in. Your cable should have enough slack to have clearance, for you to switch the Fast and Normal mode.

12. The back is done,... cover up the hole with some Foam to keep dust out.

000. Before Stock Transmitter with module

xxx. The Final Product after the mod =D the pull antenna is gone and replaced by the 2.4 Ghz antenna.
