| I got me a used RSPRO to run in a 1/8 buggy. I don't want to run a fan, so I opt for a heatsink. The first pic shows the lowest profile setup and covers all the fets. Second pics shows a cylindrical gangster heatsink. Would be easier to put on, but will increase the overall size. I also have some 1 Farad 5.5V caps. Would be good for 1s setups or put two in series and will be good for 2s setups. | |

| Probably it would be so. But I worked enough on my minitruck and really didn't want to get into another liquid fuel hobby. | |

| I like the round heatsink. That will look sweet sticking out of the bottom of the ESC case. | |

| Thanks man. Filing the plastic to make the heatsink fit perfectly took the longest. Almost look like a upside down speed passion. | |

| It looks great and will look even better once you get those wires cleaned up....104F sounds like you can go up 4-5 teeth on that pinion. I'm guessing that the motorwas ice cold. | |

| Ran it again today. Motor was at 160F and ESC at 125F. Caps sat at 105F. This setup is sweet. Need to make me a new setup of foam tires for the CRT.5. | |

| yup. That is basically it. But I used the double sided thermal foam tape to keep it on. I did not want to use the thermal epoxy. | |

| Then what about the fins ? They just floating ?
What if you use that metalplate as its heatsink and use a solid aloy piece instead heatsink fins and use Thermal Tape and tape it down to the plate using the plate as the heatsink ?
ahhaha Use the car itself as the heatsink LMAO xD
Hate to figure out what i wanan do with mines. | |

| Yup they are just floating. I have it like that for when I want to stick the esc somewhere else. For now the fins make contact with the bottom plate with the use of some more thermal tape. So yes, the plate also becomes part of the heatsink and takes care of isolating some vibration. | |
