First off RC18 v2 (T2 B2 MT2 R2 SC18 LM) They are fun cars very durable if build right or upgraded right.
Keep in mind everything breaks if pushed to the limits.

I have encountered some hickups during my build up.
Though they are great cars here are some thing to watch out for.

  1. My kit version didn't have this issue, but this issues seems to be apperent to alot of early generation kits T2/B2 or the Factory Team kit. Your front diff housing binds to the diff, especially the lower housing part.
-Solution Contact Associated Customer service and explain where it is binding and they will send you a revision of the diff housing

  2. The SC18 RTR or pretty much all RTR from associated with the 2.4GHz system seem suffer from a no bind to reciever issue. 90% of the time its the reciever, it will not bind to the stock transmitter.
-Solution here is also contact associated and they will get you a new one, ofcourse send them a detailed email on what it is doing.

  3. All models with a 60 spur seem to suffer from this issue if not put together correct. Your rear Diff is rubbing onto the Spur.
-Solution you tighten the chassis screws systematically, get all screws fit losely first and then systematically one left one right. Start tighten them all up so they all share an even load left to right this ensures a smooth drivetrain. Or use a smaller optional spur.

Despite the hick ups I must say the Customer service of Associated was top notch. As long as you report to them with a detailed email describing the issue they will understand what it is, or will know what needs to be done to fix it. They did not asked me to pay for anything through out my builds, and I respect that.

So thumbs up despite the hick ups.
