| Went to Randy's this morning and broke both my cars. Went home and build up my second GTP, for true onroad use. Team Magic Buggy has way too much torque and the little CRT.5 just wasn't cutting it today. I actually use a faster servo in this build. Took out the plastic guards for a different look. Used a RC-Monster motor mount and had to shimmy that biotch. An LX battery tray and servo holder. Pletty 3000kv and Tekin RX8. My cap bank add with dual TVS is a no brainer. The spool has the smaller spur option. | |

| Looking real nice!!!! It's like the GTP is on a diet without those mudguards. So you put the 47T spur on. Have you drove it yet? What kind of foams are those? Supra Sales Foams? | |

| I drove it allready and it's way better than my other gtp. Mostly because of the faster servo. The foams are from Ofna and your can get a pair for 15 bucks at impakt rc. I still need to order the rear body mount and hardend gears for the diffs. I allready have the King Headz diff case caps. | |

| I like it alot more for onroad. My other GTP is a straight line monster.
40A is the thing to do man. None of that girly 20A stuff. I run them down to 3% capacity or so. So far they take the abuse. Dean was laughing at my charge cable today.

| The car doesn't see a continuous load of 40A for 7 minutes. 12AWG is just fine. It's the resistance of the plugs that matter the most and if you are a geek like me. I handmade a new arm mount out of some sorry aluminum for the TM buggy, Andreas. | |

| I love it!!!! 7 min charge times, It's just barely long enough for the ESC and motor to cool down. It looks great Romano except...... that the "Master Blaster" fan will probably push the car backwards when it's on That fan is crazy fast. Post up your arm mounts on your Team Magic Thread I wanna see!!! | |

| That reverse trust is funny heh. I'm guessing that when I update the diffs this weekend, I will be able to run the 2300kv Pletty Bigmaxx on 6S and not have to worry much. I still have to make a shroud for the fan, for max cooling of the poor Tekin. Nearly all the LED's were on after running up and down the street.
I didn't take any pics of the mounts I made. It's actually the hinge pin mount that I cut and filed to submission and used some truggy hinge pins to finish it off. No biggy, other than saving an arm and a leg pricing from Wolfhobbies.

| It looks like you are ready for so major HP through those diffs now. Like you said Pletty Bigmaxx on 6S sounds like the way to test them. | |

| Allright the diffs held up great, but my favorite motor didn't fair well. The motor blew it's rotor, but the Tekin RX8 didn't go up in smoke like some other ESC's would of have. I slapped in the bigger badder Pletty and it's just too much power. Looking into the Tekin 2650 or Hacker C50-8L. | |

| Damn man. What's up with the pride in breaking stuff?
I put them there, because it's faster to replace arms and hinges, than taking the whole diff case apart. I learned my lesson with the first GTP. I drove it last nite and was dissappointed with the new power plant. It's 10mph slower. I could gear up and pull more current, but at the cost heat.
